Former PC pupil Philip McDonagh (Class of 65) has been awarded the OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for public service in Northern Ireland. Philip is an economist with over 30 years experience of working on economic policy issues in NI. He worked for the NI Economic Council for a number of years and then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers where he became Chief Economist until his retirement in 2009. He now works as a self employed economist and economic commentator. Philip is a member of the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
